What is Serve Durant?

Serve Durant is multi-church outreach event occurring annually right here in Durant Oklahoma. It is the desire of our heart to see the body of Christ in our city, come together to not just be churches in Durant but FOR Durant. We do this by partnering with city government, civil services, and benevolent organizations to accomplish as many service projects as we can in one day.

Serve Durant FAQ’s

When do I arrive and where do I park?
Check-in begins at 7:30 am at Victory Life Church.
How do I get my shirt?

Shirts will be available the day of Serve Durant when you check-in. Please arrive in time to check-in and change into your shirt.

  • If you would like to pick up your shirt before Serve Durant, they are available at Victory Life Church on March 28th-31st during office hours.
  • Address: 3412 W University Blvd, Durant, OK 74701 – pick up at Church Offices next to main building.
  • Office Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5pm
What should I wear?

Please wear your Serve Durant shirt and clothes that you are willing to get dirty. Some projects may ruin your clothing.

Do I need to bring anything?

Everything needed for your Serve Durant project will be provided. We suggest bringing your water bottle as we all work to ensure we stay hydrated. Please bring a cheerful attitude with a heart prepared and ready to serve!

How will I get to my serve project?
We will have buses to take you to and from your project site. After you check-in, we will huddle in the main sanctuary and then release people by projects to load buses.
How will I connect with my team?
Before the day of Serve Durant, you will receive an email from your project leader with information regarding the project you signed up for. After you check in on the day of Serve Durant, we will huddle in the main sanctuary and then release people by project to load buses.
Will lunch be provided?

Yes. Lunch will be provided at Victory Life Church after the projects. We welcome you to stay, fellowship, and celebrate all that was accomplished.

What does the schedule for the day look like?
7:00am Check-in team arrives
7:30am Check-in opens
8:00am Huddle (prayer)
8:25am Load buses
9:00am Arrive at serve site
12:00pm Lunch
Can I take pictures?

Yes, feel free to take pictures and videos. When posting them to social media please use the hashtag #servedurant, #onechurch.
