Serve Durant FAQ’s
When do I arrive and where do I park?
Please arrive no later than 8:00am to get checked in. Check in will be at Victory Life Church.
How do I get my shirt?
Shirts will be available to be picked up on September 26th at the following locations:
- First Baptist Church (during morning services)
- Fusion Bible (during morning services)
- Victory Life Church Durant (during morning services)
- United Prayer Service (hosted at Fusion Bible on 9/26)
What should I wear?
Please wear your Serve Durant shirt and clothes that you are willing to get dirty. Some projects may ruin your clothing.
Do I need to bring anything?
Everything needed for your Serve Durant project will be provided. We suggest bringing your water bottle as we all work to ensure we stay hydrated. Please bring a cheerful attitude with a heart prepared and ready to serve!
How will I get to my serve project?
We will have buses parked in the parking lot to take you to your project. Each bus will have a sign indicating which site they are going to. These buses will take you to and from your serve project. We ask that everyone (excluding some specific projects) rides a bus due to limited parking at each site.
How will I connect with my team?
You will go to the bus designated with your serve project. Your team leader will be holding a sign with your specific project. For example: On the bus, it will say, “Avalon” and your team leader will stand by that bus with a sign saying, “Avalon Block Party”. This will ensure you connect with the right project and leader for the day.
Will lunch be provided?
Yes. Lunch will be provided at Victory Life Church after the projects. We welcome you to stay, fellowship, and celebrate all that was accomplished.
